Job Description
Apt Resources seeks an experienced Diamond Evaluator to join our client’s mining operations in Angola. The ideal candidate will assess, grade, and value rough diamonds according to international gemological standards, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Evaluate and grade diamonds using gemological instruments.
- Estimate market value using up-to-date pricing data and maintain parcel records.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure secure handling, transport, and reporting.
Requirements: Degree in Gemology or related field, minimum 8 years’ experience in diamond evaluation, and fluency in Portuguese and/or English. Compensation: USD 5,00–7,00 monthly plus commission; accommodation and meals provided; 30 days annual leave with travel support.
