Job Description
The Aligarh Institute of Technology is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Library Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Requirements: Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with library systems are essential. The candidate should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include assisting patrons, managing accounts, shelving items, collecting fines, and providing support with cataloging tasks.
