Job Description
We are seeking a Dairy Herd Health Supervisor to lead herd health programs that ensure productive, disease-free dairy herds. The role oversees vaccinations, treatments, biosecurity, medication records, and coordination with veterinarians. The supervisor will train and supervise farm personnel, monitor milk quality, reproductive performance, and calf care, and analyze herd data to enhance productivity and welfare. The position requires implementing preventive protocols and emergency response plans.
- Preferred: degree in animal science, dairy management, or veterinary technology
- Minimum: 3+ years dairy experience, strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with herd management software, excellent record-keeping, flexible schedule, and commitment to animal welfare and food safety
