Job Description
Deluxe Furnishing Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Import and Procurement Manager to be part of our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and payment terms with suppliers. Responsibilities include calculating duties and taxes on imported goods, understanding banking procedures for imports, and ensuring that production timelines are adhered to by coordinating with vendors. The role also involves sourcing optimal freight and shipping rates, as well as liaising with customs agents and transporters for effective deliveries. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is essential, with a preference for candidates experienced in the building materials industry. A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
