Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Provider Credentialing Specialist to oversee provider enrollment and credentialing processes. Responsibilities include verifying licensure and certifications, completing primary source verifications, submitting and tracking credentialing applications (CAQH, Medicare/Medicaid, commercial payers), maintaining accurate credentialing files, and ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
Required skills: strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and proficiency with credentialing systems and Microsoft Excel. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1–3 years of healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment experience are preferred. The ideal candidate can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
